Wiring Steps

Preparation

  • Confirm that the CAS40D electrode and CM442 transmitter models match.
  • Prepare shielded cables, wiring tools, and waterproof connectors.
  • Ensure the power is disconnected and comply with safety regulations.

Wiring Operation

  1. Pass the CAS40D electrode cable through the waterproof connector and connect it to the corresponding terminals on the CM442.
  2. Connect the power line, signal line, and ground line according to the terminal definitions.
  3. Check that all wiring is secure to avoid short circuits or loose connections.

CM442 Transmitter Settings

Basic Parameter Configuration

  • Enter the menu and select the electrode type as ion-selective.

Calibration and Commissioning
