Installation and Wiring Guide
Installation Steps
- Confirm that the pipeline pressure is within the transmitter's range, and close the valve to release pressure.
- Weld or thread the mounting base onto the pipeline, ensuring a good seal.
- Screw the CYC25 into the base and tighten with a wrench, avoiding excessive force that may damage the threads.
- Check the electrical interface and connect the power and signal lines according to the wiring diagram.
- Slowly open the valve and observe whether the output is normal. Perform zero calibration if necessary.
Wiring Key Points
- Two-wire system: Connect the positive power supply to the transmitter's "+", and the signal line to "-" with a load resistor in series.
- Three-wire system: Power positive, signal positive, and common ground correspond to the terminals respectively.
- RS485: Connect A to A, B to B, and ground the shield at one end.
Calibration and Maintenance
Regular calibration ensures measurement accuracy. It is recommended to calibrate once every 12 months, or shorten the cycle according to working conditions.
- Zero calibration: Under no pressure, adjust the zero potentiometer so that the output is 4mA (or 0V).
- Full-scale calibration: Apply full-scale pressure and adjust the span potentiometer so that the output is 20mA (or 10V).
- Cleaning: Wipe the housing with a soft cloth; avoid using corrosive solvents.
- Inspection: Regularly check whether the sealing rings and wiring terminals are loose or corroded.
