Working Principle
The ultrasonic flowmeter uses a pair of sensors to alternately transmit and receive ultrasonic signals, and calculates the fluid flow velocity by using the time difference between downstream and upstream propagation. Combined with the pipeline cross-sectional area, the instantaneous flow rate and cumulative flow are finally obtained.

Installation Steps
Correct installation is the key to ensuring measurement accuracy. Please follow the steps below.
- Select the installation location: Ensure sufficient straight pipe sections (10D upstream and 5D downstream), and avoid disturbance sources such as pumps and valves.
- Prepare the pipe surface: Grind and clean the installation area, removing paint and rust.
- Install the sensors: Apply coupling agent, and attach the sensors tightly to the pipe wall and secure them.
- Wiring: Connect the power and signal cables according to the manual, and pay attention to grounding the shielding layer.
- Parameter setting: Enter parameters such as pipe diameter, wall thickness, and medium to complete calibration.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Daily Maintenance
- Regularly check whether the sensor coupling agent has dried out, and replenish it in time.
- Clean dirt on the sensor surface to maintain signal strength.
- Check whether the wiring terminals are loose to avoid signal interference.
