PMC11 Core Technical Parameters

The following table lists the main technical parameters of the PMC11 pressure transmitter for selection reference.

Parameter itemSpecification description
Measuring range0~0.1 MPa to 0~60 MPa
Output signal4~20 mA / HART
Accuracy class±0.5% FS
Power supply12~36 VDC
Process connectionG1/2, 1/2 NPT, etc.
Protection classIP65 / IP67
Medium temperature-40~85 ℃

PMC11 Selection Points

1. Determine the measuring range

Select an appropriate range according to the actual working pressure. It is recommended that the normal working pressure be between 60%~80% of the range to balance accuracy and overload capacity.

2. Choose the output signal

If remote configuration and diagnostics are required, give priority to HART communication; if only analog transmission is needed, 4~20 mA is sufficient.

3. Process connection and material

Choose G1/2 or 1/2 NPT according to the pipeline interface. For corrosive media, stainless steel or Hastelloy diaphragms should be used.

PMC11 Installation and Commissioning Steps

  1. Installation position: Avoid vibration, high temperature, and strong electromagnetic interference. Vertical installation is recommended.
  2. Connect the pipeline: Use appropriate seals and tighten the process connection according to the torque requirements.
  3. Electrical wiring: Connect the power and signal lines according to the wiring diagram in the manual, and pay attention to polarity.
  4. Power-on inspection: After power-on, observe whether the output current is normal. When there is no pressure, the output should be 4 mA.
  5. Zero calibration: Perform zero adjustment under no pressure to ensure the display is 0.
  6. Range setting: Set the upper and lower limits via the HART communicator or buttons.

Common Faults and Handling

Fault phenomenonPossible causeHandling method
No output signalPower supply reversed or open circuitCheck wiring and supply voltage
Output too high/too lowZero drift or blockageClean the impulse pipe and recalibrate
Display fluctuates greatlyMedium pulsation or interferenceAdd damping or shielded cable
Communication failureMissing HART resistorConnect a 250 Ω resistor in series in the loop

Maintenance and Precautions

  • Regularly check the process connection for leaks.
  • Avoid over-range use to prevent sensor damage.
  • In explosion-proof occasions, intrinsic safety or flameproof regulations must be followed.
  • For long-term shutdown, disconnect power and store properly.
