Endress+Hauser Group Senior Management Changes

Endress+Hauser Group recently announced important senior management changes involving the replacement of the CEO and the Chairman of the Supervisory Board. The adjustments aim to ensure the continuity of the company's long-term strategy and further strengthen collaboration between the family and professional managers.

Dr. Peter Selders Appointed CEO

Dr. Peter Selders (54) has officially taken over as CEO of the Endress+Hauser Group. He holds a doctorate in physics and joined the Group in 2004. He previously served as Managing Director of the Level + Pressure measurement technology center in Maulburg, Germany. He is the fourth CEO in the Group's 70-year history.

Matthias Altendorf Takes Office as Chairman of the Supervisory Board

Matthias Altendorf (56) is the previous CEO and moved to the Group's Supervisory Board after 10 years at the helm. In 2014, he succeeded Dr. Klaus Endress and became the Group's first non-family CEO. Effective immediately, he will succeed Dr. Klaus Endress (75) as Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Going forward, two third-generation family members will represent the interests of the shareholder family: in addition to Sandra Genge, Steven Endress, grandson of the company founder, also joined the Supervisory Board on January 1, 2024.

Dr. Klaus Endress Retires with Honors

Dr. Klaus Endress devoted his life to actively participating in the affairs of the family business. He now retires with honors, bringing his career to a successful conclusion.

Dr. Dirk Mörmann Succeeds as Managing Director of the Level + Pressure Measurement Technology Center

Dr. Dirk Mörmann (50), former Technical Director and member of the Management Board, will succeed Dr. Peter Selders as Managing Director of the Level + Pressure measurement technology center. Endress+Hauser officially announced the above personnel changes in February 2023.
