Wiring Steps

  1. Confirm that the flowmeter power supply is disconnected to ensure safe operation.

  3. Connect the positive pole of the shielded twisted pair to A (+), the negative pole to B (-), and ground the shield at one end.
  4. When networking multiple devices, use hand-in-hand daisy chain connection and avoid star topology.
  5. Connect a 120Ω terminating resistor at the end of the bus to eliminate signal reflection.
  6. After power-on, send Modbus commands through the host computer to test whether communication is normal.
