The Promass A series Coriolis flowmeter is renowned for its high-accuracy measurement of the smallest liquid and gas flow rates in both high-pressure and low-pressure applications. In combination with the Promass 83 transmitter with touch control, four-line display and extended functions (such as filling, dosing, concentration measurement or advanced diagnostics), Promass 83A is widely used for the precise measurement of the smallest liquid and gas flow rates.
Benefits
Modular design and operating concept for greater efficiency
Optional batching and concentration measurement software as extended functions
Diagnostics and data backup functions improve process quality
Integrated multivariable flow measurement
Balanced single-tube measuring system unaffected by vibration
Robust design, unaffected by external pipe forces
No inlet/outlet runs required, easy installation
Application
The Coriolis measuring principle is independent of the physical properties of the fluid, such as viscosity and density.
Suitable for continuous measurement of very small flow rates in filling and dosing.
Extremely precise measurement of liquids and gases, e.g. emulsions, additives, flavorings, insulin, and high-pressure and low-pressure gases.
Fluid temperature up to +200 °C (+392 °F)
Process pressure up to 400 bar (5800 psi)
Hazardous area approvals
ATEX, FM, CSA, TIIS, IECEx, NEPSI
