The Memosens CCS55D is a low-maintenance digital free bromine sensor. It measures reliably in seawater desalination plants, process water, cooling water, swimming pools and fish farms, delivering stable measured values. The free bromine sensor safely disinfects even with small amounts of water. Its fast response ensures efficient process control. The CCS55D uses Memosens digital technology for maximum process and data integrity, and it is simple to operate.
Advantages
Different sensor versions for different applications: from trace measurement up to a free bromine concentration of no more than 200 mg/l.
Fast response (t90 < 20 seconds) with high-precision indication of the process status, enabling prompt action in response to process changes and efficient process control. It remains active in bromine-free media and measures as soon as bromine appears.
Greater process safety: precise measurement with high long-term stability enables permanent process monitoring and flexible, on-demand adjustment of the disinfectant dosage.
Safe seawater disinfection, because adding chlorine to seawater forms bromine compounds. Monitoring the chlorine concentration would cause measurement errors and poor disinfection results.
Fast, convenient sensor replacement and longer trouble-free operating time: the sensor can be precalibrated in the laboratory and is ready for plug-and-play in the field.
Combined with the Liquiline multiparameter transmitter, it can simultaneously measure other relevant water analysis parameters, such as pH and ORP.
