The Micropilot FMR540 is approved by NMi and PTB, can be used for custody transfer and inventory control, and meets the relevant requirements of the R85 and API 3.1B standards. With a parabolic antenna, the FMR540 is especially suitable for measurement in any space within 40 m; with a horn antenna, the FMR540 can be used where the shape of the tank/installation nozzle prevents the use of a parabolic antenna. The Micropilot FMR540 uses a four-wire system, HART and 24 VDC intrinsically safe power supply, and is economical and easy to install.
Benefits
Accuracy better than 1 mm
Custody transfer applications with national certifications (NMi and PTB)
The instrument can be used standalone or integrated with a tank level measurement system via the NRF590 tank side indicator
Four-wire, HART and 24 V DC intrinsically safe power supply, cost-effective and easy to install.
Angle adjustment device compensates for flange inclination
Simple on-site operation via menu-driven alphanumeric display module
Convenient instrument commissioning, documentation and fault diagnosis using the FieldCare operating software
Application areas
The parabolic antenna is suitable for use in any space with a range of up to 40 m, providing highly focused measurement where the nozzle is close to the tank wall, 4"/diameter 100; the horn antenna is suitable for use in any space.
