The Soliwave microwave limit switch performs non-contact limit detection and flow monitoring of bulk solids (no-flow/flow, flow trend). The instrument can be used for detection and counting, detecting deposits and monitoring the feeding process and the quantity of material conveyed. It can be installed in vessels, channels, stockpiles, feed stations, pump stations, filters or other free-fall shafts of all kinds. Measurement outside non-metallic vessels is permitted.
Benefits
Convenient installation via R 1½, 1½ NPT thread or G 1½ (with lock nut)
The instrument is robust and operates economically throughout its entire lifecycle: wear-free, ceramic sensor membrane (optional) for the process-wetted part, long service life, maintenance-free
Optional integrated bulk solids flow monitoring increases the safety of limit detection
The measuring principle is virtually unaffected by process properties
Can be used in demanding conditions where other measuring methods are limited
Simple operation via the Nivotester FTR525 with graphic display saves time and costs
Applications
Non-contact (wear-free, maintenance-free) limit detection (low/high limit) and flow monitoring (no-flow/flow, flow trend) of bulk solids.
Detection, counting and positioning functions
Detection and analysis of deposits and contaminants in filters
Monitoring of the feeding process
Monitoring of the quantity of material conveyed
For use at temperatures up to 450°C (+842°F)
For use at pressures up to 20 bar (+290 psi)
International explosion-protection approval
