Field Indicator RIA16

The indicator shows the measured signal on the large, backlit display. A bar graph indicates the value graphically for a quick process overview. An editable plain text field displays further information like engineering unit or TAG. Limit value infringement is also signalized and an open collector can be switched. The indicator is powered directly from the 4...20 mA loop and doesn't need a separate power supply. For applications in hazardous areas the device is available with Ex approvals.

The indicator's large backlit display shows the measured value; an optional bar graph visualizes the measured value for a faster process overview. Editable plain text can display engineering units or TAG information. If a limit value is exceeded, a signal is output that opens the collector. The indicator requires no separate power supply and can be powered directly by the 4...20 mA loop. The device is Ex-certified and suitable for hazardous areas.

Application
The display unit is housed in a field instrument housing with a microcontroller and LC backlit display. The display of measuring range, decimal point and offset can be easily configured via 3 keys after opening the housing, or on a computer using the FieldCare PC software.
