CPS11 Product Overview
CPS11 is an industrial-grade pH electrode widely used in chemical, water treatment, pharmaceutical, and other process analysis fields. Its core advantages lie in stable measurement accuracy and long service life.
The sensor adopts a glass membrane and double reference system design, which can effectively resist contamination and clogging, making it suitable for harsh working conditions.
Main Technical Parameters
| Parameter | Typical Value |
|---|---|
| Measurement Range | 0~14 pH |
| Temperature Range | 0~80℃ (high-temperature model optional) |
| Pressure Range | 0~6 bar |
| Connection Type | PG13.5 or other custom options |
| Reference System | Double reference, anti-contamination |
Installation and Wiring Steps
Correct installation is the prerequisite for ensuring the long-term stable operation of the CPS11. Please follow the steps below:
- Check the electrode appearance and confirm that the glass bulb has no cracks.
- Screw the electrode into the PG13.5 mounting seat with moderate torque to avoid overtightening.
- Connect the signal cable to the transmitter, paying attention to single-end grounding of the shield layer.
- After power-on, perform two-point calibration with standard buffer solutions.
- After calibration is complete, immerse the electrode in the measured medium and observe reading stability.
Wiring Precautions
- Use original or equivalent low-noise cables, and the length should not exceed 10 meters.
- Avoid parallel routing with power cables to prevent electromagnetic interference.
- Keep terminals dry and clean, and regularly check sealing performance.
Typical Application Scenarios
CPS11 is suitable for various industrial processes. The following are common scenarios:
- Chemical reactors: monitor acidity and alkalinity, and control reaction endpoints.
- Wastewater treatment: pH adjustment in aeration tanks and neutralization tanks.
- Pharmaceutical purified water: online pH monitoring to meet GMP requirements.
- Electroplating baths: anti-contamination design reduces maintenance frequency.
Maintenance and Common Issues
Regular maintenance can extend the service life of the CPS11 and maintain measurement accuracy.
- Check the electrode surface weekly, and wipe it with a soft cloth dipped in dedicated cleaning solution.
- Perform calibration once a month using fresh buffer solution.
- If the response becomes slow, soak the bulb in 3M KCl solution for activation.
- When not in use for a long time, put on the protective cap and keep it moist.
Common faults include reading drift and slow response, most of which can be solved by cleaning and calibration. If the problem persists, please refer to the manual or contact the manufacturer.
