FMR51 uses Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) radar technology. It transmits high-frequency microwaves and receives echoes, calculating the frequency difference to obtain distance. Installation and Commissioning Points
Installation Precautions
- Avoid installing directly above the feed inlet to prevent false echoes.
- The antenna should extend out of the installation nozzle to reduce interference.
- For solid level measurement, it is recommended to use a universal flange to adjust the antenna angle.
Commissioning Steps
- After power-on, enter the menu via the local display or HART handheld communicator.
- Set empty tank calibration and full tank calibration.
- Select dielectric constant and echo curve mode according to medium characteristics.
- Check the echo curve to ensure the main echo is clear and stable.
- Save parameters and record them to complete commissioning.
Selection and Procurement Recommendations
When selecting, confirm medium characteristics, process connection, temperature and pressure, and output protocol. For corrosive media, choose PTFE antenna or ceramic seal options.
