CPS12 Product Overview
CPS12 is an industrial-grade pressure switch, suitable for monitoring and controlling gas and liquid pressure. It features a compact design, high repeatability, and long service life.
This product is widely used in air compressors, hydraulic stations, water treatment, and HVAC systems, and is a key protective component in process control.
Core Features
- High Precision: Setpoint repeatability better than ±1% FS
- Wide Range: Covers multiple pressure ranges from -0.1 to 60 MPa
- Multiple Ports: Standard threads such as G1/4, NPT1/4 available
- Protection Rating: IP65, suitable for harsh industrial environments
- Output Options: SPDT mechanical contacts or NPN/PNP transistor output
Technical Parameters and Selection
When selecting, confirm the pressure range, port thread, output type, and electrical connection method. The table below lists the main technical parameters of the CPS12 for reference by procurement and engineers.

Installation Steps
Correct installation is a prerequisite for ensuring long-term stable operation of the CPS12. Please follow the steps below and ensure the system has been depressurized.
- Check the pressure switch appearance and port threads to confirm no damage.
- Wrap an appropriate amount of PTFE tape on the threads or use a sealing washer.
- Hand-thread the CPS12 into the pipeline port, then tighten with a wrench, with torque not exceeding 25 N·m.
- Connect the power supply and load according to the wiring diagram, paying attention to polarity and contact capacity.
- Slowly pressurize to the setpoint and observe whether the switch operates normally.
Calibration and Setting
Use a flathead screwdriver to adjust the setpoint screw. Turn clockwise to increase the set pressure, counterclockwise to decrease. It is recommended to calibrate under actual working pressure.
If there is a scale window, the set value can be read directly; if there is no scale, an external standard pressure gauge is needed for comparison. After calibration, tighten the locking screw.
Common Faults and Troubleshooting
- Switch does not operate: Check whether the pressure reaches the setpoint and whether the wiring is correct.
- Setpoint drift: Recalibrate and check whether the diaphragm is contaminated or fatigued.
- Leakage: Tighten the port or replace the seal.
- Contact sticking: Load current is too high; an intermediate relay is required.
Typical Application Scenarios
CPS12 can be used in the following industrial applications:
- Air compressor discharge pressure monitoring and protection
- Hydraulic system pressure alarm and interlock
- Water treatment pump start/stop control
- HVAC refrigerant pressure monitoring
- Industrial automation equipment pressure safety limit
Procurement and Maintenance Recommendations
When purchasing, please specify the pressure range, port thread, output type, and electrical connector form. It is recommended to keep the CPS12 Chinese manual for on-site reference.
Regularly check the setpoint and sealing status, and calibrate once every 12 months to significantly extend service life.
