Core Functions and Technical Parameters

Measurement Principle

CA80 COD uses the potassium dichromate digestion-colorimetric method, and TP uses the potassium persulfate digestion-molybdenum antimony anti-spectrophotometric method. Both comply with Chinese environmental standards HJ 828-2017 and HJ 670-2013.

Installation and Operation Steps

Installation Points

  1. Choose an indoor environment with good ventilation and no corrosive gases, with an ambient temperature of 5-40°C.
  2. Fix the analyzer on a bracket or wall, ensuring it is level and convenient for reagent replacement.
  3. Connect the sample inlet tube, waste discharge tube, and reagent tubes, avoiding bending or blockage.
  4. Connect to power (220VAC±10%, 50Hz) and ensure reliable grounding.

First Startup

  1. Turn on the power switch and wait for the system self-check to complete.
  2. Enter the menu to set the measurement cycle and range.
  3. Perform zero calibration and span calibration using standard solutions.
  4. Start automatic measurement and observe whether the first measurement result is normal.

Calibration and Maintenance

Regular Calibration

  • It is recommended to perform zero calibration every 1 month and span calibration every 3 months.
  • Use freshly prepared standard solutions to avoid contamination.
  • Calibration data is automatically saved and can be exported to a USB flash drive.

Routine Maintenance

  • Check reagent levels weekly and replenish or replace them in time.
  • Clean the digestion cell and colorimetric cell monthly to prevent dirt from affecting the optical path.
  • Replace the peristaltic pump tube quarterly and check the sealing of the tubing.
  • Replace consumable parts such as sealing rings and light source lamps once a year.
