Measuring points with extremely high process temperatures require thermometers fitted with ceramic thermowells and thermocouples made of special metals such as platinum and rhodium. The special thermowell material protects the working element during the measuring process against mechanical damage or chemical corrosion, extending the service life of the sensor. The result is: reduced maintenance costs for the measuring point, improved product quality and greater production safety.
