Promag 50 Simulated Current Output Overview
Promag 50 electromagnetic flowmeter supports the simulated current output function, making it easy to simulate output signals during commissioning or maintenance and verify the system loop. This function is often used by engineering and technical personnel for on-site calibration or procurement acceptance testing.
Simulated Current Output Setup Steps
- Enter the instrument main menu and select the "Simulation" function.
- In the simulation options, select "Current Output".
- Set the simulated current value (such as 4mA, 12mA, 20mA).
- After confirmation, the instrument outputs the corresponding current signal.

Correspondence Between Simulation Parameters and Output
| Simulation Value | Output Current | Typical Use |
|---|---|---|
| 0% | 4mA | Zero point calibration |
| 50% | 12mA | Midpoint test |
| 100% | 20mA | Full-scale calibration |

Precautions and Common Issues
- During simulation, the actual flow signal is ignored; ensure safety.
- After simulation ends, be sure to exit simulation mode and restore normal output.
- If the output is abnormal, check the wiring and power supply.
