The Prosonic Flow P ultrasonic flowmeter uses mature sensor technology and can be installed on pipe bends, expanders or reducers for stable measurement, with measuring accuracy unaffected by external factors. The clamp-on sensor uses non-contact measurement and can reliably measure abrasive, corrosive or toxic fluids. The Prosonic Flow P 500 is installed without interrupting the production process and without opening the pipe. Heartbeat Technology ensures reliable measuring results and audit compliance, and also helps determine the optimum installation position.
Advantages
Stable measurement: with FlowDC, measuring accuracy is completely unaffected even with a short upstream straight run
Meets high safety standards: SIL design and international explosion protection approvals
High long-term signal stability: installed on the outside of the pipe, maintenance-free
Reliable measurement on pipes of different materials: GRP pipes and plastic pipes
Complete process and diagnostic information: various user-configurable I/O combinations
Reduced complexity and variability: user-configurable input/output functions
Integrated verification: Heartbeat Technology
Application areas
Non-contact measuring principle, unaffected by pressure, density and conductivity
Supports bidirectional liquid flow measurement, e.g. liquid hydrocarbons and chemicals, for a wide range of applications
