PMX7x/FMX7x Level Mode Setup Steps
PMX7x/FMX7x series instruments are widely used in level measurement, and correct mode setting is a prerequisite for ensuring measurement accuracy. The following is the complete level mode setup procedure, suitable for engineering commissioning and procurement acceptance reference.
1. Enter the Main Menu and Select the Measuring Mode
- After the instrument is powered on, the measured value display appears.
- Press the E key to enter the main menu GROUP SELECTION.
- Press the + or - key to find MEASURING MODE.
- Press the E key to enter, then select Level (level mode).
At this point, the instrument has switched to level measurement mode, and subsequent parameter settings can be performed.
2. Quick Setup Menu (QUICK SETUP)
Return to GROUP SELECTION, press the + or - key to find QUICK SETUP, and press the E key to enter. This menu contains key parameters such as zero adjustment, empty calibration, full calibration, and damping time.
3. Zero Adjustment (POS.ZERO ADJUST)
After the instrument is installed, zero drift may occur, which can be eliminated by zero adjustment. After entering POS.ZERO ADJUST:
- Select Confirm: the current measured value is restored to 0.0.
- Select Abort: cancel the adjustment and keep the original value.
It is recommended to perform zero adjustment in an empty tank state to ensure an accurate reference.
4. Empty and Full Calibration
Empty and full calibration are used to establish the correspondence between level and output signal, and are the core steps of level mode setup.
