The Liquicap FMI52 reliable, fully insulated probe can be used for continuous liquid level measurement, especially in small tanks, media with buildup and extremely high temperatures, and is the best choice for large measuring ranges. Measurement is independent of the DK value (dielectric constant). Used together with the Fieldgate FXA320 (remote measured value access via Internet technology), the Liquicap provides an ideal inventory management solution.
Advantages
No calibration required for liquids with conductivity above 100μS/cm; probe length factory preset to 0%/100%, fast and simple commissioning
Text display with menu-guided on-site setup (optional)
Various approvals and permits obtained for a wide range of applications
Compliant with IEC 61508, suitable for safety systems requiring SIL2
Wetted parts made of corrosion-resistant and FDA-approved materials
Dual overvoltage protection (gas discharge tube + protective diode) prevents tank discharge
Electronics provide built-in buildup compensation
Areas of application
The Liquicap FMI52 has a robust construction (self-sealing cone); the probe withstands pressures from vacuum to 100bar. Sealing and isolating materials used in the tank can withstand temperatures from -80 to +200°C. For liquids with conductivity above 100μS/cm, the measured value is independent of the DK (dielectric constant), so different liquids can be measured without recalibration.
