Applications
The HAW568 surge arrester protects the electronic components inside field devices from damage. It limits overvoltage surges occurring on signal cables (e.g. 4...20 mA), fieldbus cables and power supply cables, or safely diverts the surge to ground. The zero-impedance connection protects the device, prevents interfering voltage drops and ensures that the electronic components function correctly.
