The RLN22 is a compact 1- or 2-channel, 24 V DC isolating amplifier with relay signal output. It is designed to safely operate e.g. proximity sensors or point level switches such as Liquiphant FTL51B (NAMUR) as per IEC 60947-5-6. The interface module monitors line faults such as breaks or short-circuits of sensors or mechanical switching contacts. The device is suited for use in hazardous areas and safety instrumented systems up to SIL 2 in accordance with IEC 61508.

Operation DIP switch

The RLN22 signal isolating amplifier has a compact single-channel or dual-channel design, is powered with 24 VDC and has a relay output. It ensures safe operation of proximity sensors or limit switches complying with IEC 60947-5-6 (e.g. Liquiphant FTL51B (NAMUR)).
The interface module monitors line faults such as open or short circuits in sensor or mechanical contact switch loops. The device can be used in hazardous areas and in safety instrumented systems up to safety integrity level SIL 2 in accordance with IEC 61508.
